August 2023 – Vineyard Experience

Details:  Join us for a series of events over the August 25th weekend that will find you in the Cinder Winery cellar, in the vineyards of the Snake River Valley and at a private Winemaker’s Dinner in downtown Boise. This event is exclusively for Loyalty Wine Club members and includes with two nights accomodations at our favorite Hotel Partner, The Riverside Hotel in Garden City, just minutes from our winery and nestled along the goregous Boise river.  Here’s our itinerary… 

After check in on Friday August 25th,  you’ll be shuttled to our winery at 4:30pm to start the weekend off with a “sneak peak” tasting of the newest Fall Release wines from Cinder with Founder, Joe Schnerr.  The hotel shuttle will return you to your hotel for a brief rest before we meet again downtown at the Red Feather’s “Cellar Room” for a multi-course private Winemaker’s Dinner with Head Winemaker Melanie Krause, featuring exclusive selections from Cinder’s Library collection. 

Saturday morning you’ll enjoy breakfast at your hotel before our private shuttle picks you up for a tour led by Mealnie Krause and Joe Schnerr to two gorgeous and distinct vineyard sites in the Snake River Valley. This informative and fun tour will get you insights into the wine growing region and into the science of enology and viticulture. Timing is perfect for this experience as the grapes are nearing maturation and the excitement of harvest is in the air!  We will finish our experience with a 4 course lunch at James Beard Finalist, Dustan Bristol’s, Brick 29 restaurant.  Your lunch will feature an amazing selection of wines (yet again!).

Upon returning to your hotel from our vineyard tour/lunch your final night will be a “Free Night” on the town.  We’ll have recommendations for you on our favorite places to go on a Saturday night in Boise, including the best places for cocktails, Basque cuisine and dancing! 

Guests then fly out of Boise on Sunday, August 27th.

Price*: 

• Single Attendant = $650 plus airfare. 
• Two Attendees = $420/person (based on double occupancy),  plus airfare.

*Price includes hotel room for Friday & Saturday night, private wine tasting, winemaker’s dinner, vineyard tour and vineyard tour lunch.  Participants are responsible for round trip airfare, uber ride to/from Friday night dinner and all activities Saturday night (Free Night). Details: We will be taking a small group of Loyalty Wine Club Members to the Rhone Region of France in Spring 2025 to visit the home of Syrah, Viognier and so much more! Partenering with Experi, experience the diverse landscapes, medieval villages, and gastronomic delights of the South of France during this 8-day journey through the legendary Rhône Valley. Highlights of the trip include the historic cities of Lyon, Vienne, and Avignon where Roman ruins, Renaissance architecture, and awe-inspiring castles and cathedrals are surrounded by rolling vineyards and pastoral countryside. 

Includes:

• Seven nights accommodations, including all taxes and fees
• Meals as listed on the itinerary: 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches, and 2 dinners, plus wine pairings with most major meals
