    February - - - Port Release & Blending Seminars

    What:  Port Release & Port Tastings! 

    Dates: Tastings Start Wednesday, February 1st and run till March 12th

    Times: Wednesday through Sunday during normal operating hours.

    Details:  Winemaker, Melanie Krause, has created Cinder’s first ever port-style wine named Tinto Sauve.  After 5 years of aging this wonderful creation is ready!  Now come join us at the Tasting Room to enjoy this lovely vintage, or order online for pickup or shipping. 

    Costs:  $20/person for the port tasting option.  

    Seating/Reservations:  Two Options …

      1. Reserve a table as usual by clicking here,  then once you arrive you can choose the “port tasting option” from your server.  Those who don’t have a reservation may inquire with our hostess for any open reservations. 
      2. If no reservations are open, walk-in customers can place an order for the “port tasting” at our auxiliary bar, seating is on a first come/first served basis in that area. You’ll recieve a small plate of paired treats along with a sample of the new creation named “Tinto Suave”.  

    How to purchase:  Available online, in person at winery or over the phone on February 1st.  Stay Tuned! 

    What:  Wine Blending Seminars & Lunch

    Dates: Saturday, February 18th & Sunday February 19th. 

    Time: 11am to 3pm.

    Details:  Join a small group of fellow wine-lovers as we enjoy an experience that is both unique, educational and entertaining. Seated in our wine production area you’ll be guided through the art of wine blending by Winemaker Melanie Krause.  This “hands on”  experience includes:

      • Overview of the Art of Blending.
      • Multiple “double blind” tastings with the goal of making the “best blend” possible that day.
      • A lovely lunch from our friends at Nosh.
      • Take home a bottle that day of your own personnal blend. 
      • Your ticket includes 6 bottles of the final production of the winning blend or “Signature Wine”.  (Wine released in one year, February 2024)
      • Once labeled this “vintage” will include your signature on the custom label!

    Costs:  $200/person.  Open to Club Members and their guests only.  Limit 4 tickets per Membership.

    March - - - Library Luncheons & Spring Release Begins!

    What:  Library Luncheon

    Dates: Saturday, March 4th & Sunday March 5th

    Time: Noon to 2pm. 

    Details:  We’ll be enjoying an intimate tasting and then lunch in our Art Gallery/Mezzanine as we enjoy some older vintages from our Library Collection.  There’s always a special offering made at these Luncheons on some of our most rare vintages.  A lovely lunch will be served by Kismet Kitchen as well.  Come get some wonderful insight into the beautiful impact age has on our wine! 

    Attendance: 16 guests. Limit 4 tickets per membership.  (please note the event is held upstairs in our Art Gallery/Mezzanie).

    What:  Spring Release Begins! 

    Dates: March 17th to April 30th

    Details:  New vintages and creations from Winemaker Melanie Krause will become available to Wine Club Members.  Make a reservation and enjoy a complimentary tasting of all the newest wines, then customize your Spring Release Allocation. 

    Reservations:  Similar to booking a regular visit:  just click here and choose your day & number of guests (the small reservation fee is refunded upon your arrival). Please make sure you choose a date between March 17 and April 30th.

    What:  Pick Up Parties

    Dates: Sunday, March 26th,  Saturday, April 1st & Saturday April 8th.

    Details:  Laid back affairs. You taste through the wines, chat with the Winemaker and her team and enjoy nice food pairings!

    May - - - Derby Day & Mother's Day Specials

    What:  Kentucky Derby Celebration @ Cinder

    Dates: Saturday, May 6th

    Time: Festivites run 2 to 4pm. Currently race is set for 4pm local time. Check here for up to date info. 

    Details: A fun tradition at Cinder Winery is our Derby Day Celebration.  We get dressed up, pick a horse (or two), put the race on the big screen and have a contest for “Best Dressed”. Drink Specials and lots of laughs await!  Come join us!

    What:  Mother’s Day Celebration

    Dates: May 12th to May 14th (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

    Details: Bring your Mom to the winery and enjoy some time together!

      • We will have 2 for 1 drinks and every mom gets a long stem rose! 
      • Walks in welcome OR Reserve your table! 


    June - - - Rosé Release Weekend (and Live Music!)

    What:  Rosé Release Weekend! 

    Dates: June 2nd, 3rd and 4th (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

    Details: We celebrate the release of our new rosés:  2022 Rosé of Cinsault & 2022 Rosé of Syrah! 

          • Specials on Rosé Flask Fills 
          • 2021 Rosé of Grenache – Special Pricing 
          • Merchandise – New items and many on sale!
          • New Wines will be available online and at the Tasting Room.

    Food trucks (1-6pm each day):

    Sunday Special:  June 4th – Yoga on the Lawn @ CINDER 

          • Class led by Wine Club Member Rhonda Mills (certified yoga instructor)
          • Gentle, flow class (all abilities)
          • Donations will go to the Ada County Boys & Girls Club

    What: Q Morrow in concert at CINDER! 

    Dates: Sunday, June 25th

    Time: 6pm (come early for food truck and drink specials!)

    Details: Originally from Caldwell, ID Q Morrow is a NYC based guitarist who plays jazz, latin, and Brazilian music.

        • As a sideman he’s worked with artists such as the Fugees, Lauryn Hill, Chabuco, and Liz Rosa to name a few and performed at venues including Carnegie Hall & The Monterey Jazz Fest.
        • He is currently faculty at Jay Zs RocNation School of Music, Sports, and Entertainment at Long Island University Brooklyn, teaching guitar, music theory, and aural skills classes. Q co leads TRAQ ATAQ with bassist Sam Trapchak.

    July - - - Winemaker's Dinner in the Mountains

    What:  A culinary adventure matched in intensity by the glorious setting!  We are headed to the beautiful Tamarack Resort, Idaho.

    Dates: Sunday, July 23rd

    Details: Hosted at The Lodge at Osprey Meadows

    August --- Flask Fill Specials

    What:  Specials all month long on flask fills of wine!

    Dates: All of August 

    Details: Come into the winery, fill your flask with great wine and go enjoy summer!


    September- - - Fall Release Begins!

    What: New wines debut for our Wine Club Memvers

    Dates: August 1st through October 22nd.

    Details: Tastings begin Friday, September 1st.   PickUp Parties will be Sept 9th, 17th and 23rd.
